Youth Projects

Leo Day

Due to the continuous lack of participation the Wisconsin Lions Foundation Board of Directors has voted not to hold the 2008 Leo Leadership Conference.

Quest

The Wisconsin Lions Foundation sponsors teacher training workshops throughout Wisconsin that utilize the extremely popular and timely Lions Quest Programs “Skills for Adolescence”, “Skills for Growing”, and “Skills for Action”. These Lions Quest Programs are comprehensive skills development programs for young people in grades K-12.

The Programs are designed to develop skills in improving peer and family relationships. They are positive prevention programs, intended to equip young people with the ability to say “NO” to negative peer pressure and drug and alcohol abuse.

Youth Service Project Awards

The Foundation encourages service learning. Local youth organizations carry out service projects and submit them to the Foundation for consideration. The District Governor, District Youth Chairperson, and District WLF Directors review all district applications.

The WLF Youth Committee will then review the first place winners from each district to determine the State Winners. The State Winners are asked to attend the Lions Camp Open House to accept their awards.

4-H Clubs

Boy Scouts
