A majority of our funds are raised by the Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs of the State of Wisconsin who run many of their own fundraisers in their local communities to send money to support the projects of the Wisconsin Lions Foundation. Other donations come from private donors, families, friends, grants and the three annual fundraisers the Wisconsin Lions Foundation holds.
You can help by visiting the Wisconsin Lions Foundation to learn more and make a donation or by participating in one, two or all three of our annual fundraisers.

16th Annual Birch-Sturm Golf Outing
This is a golf outing we hold to benefit the Wisconsin Lions Foundation’s general operations, which funds its projects, including Wisconsin Lions Camp. It will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Glacier Woods Golf Course in Iola, Wisconsin. If you are not a golfer, you can help us with sponsorships for the Outing. This is an excellent way to promote a club, an event, or simply advertise a business. There are two levels of sponsorship.
$100 – this level of sponsorship gives you signage recognizing your donation at the golf course and recognition in publications for the Wisconsin Lions Foundation.
$600 - this level of sponsorship gives you limited customized sign recognizing your donation at the golf course and a picture and personal thank you note from the camper whose week of camp you sponsored. Sponsors can support a camper from their area and know they made a difference to that one child. Sponsors can also take advantage of the opportunity to sponsor the same camper year after year.
Registration and sponsorship information will be available in April.
Deer Hides for Camp
This project started in 1991 with an idea from one of our past directors, Past Director Bernie Stuttgen from Thorp. It started out small, but now we have many areas around the state collecting deer hides for Camp. There are several Lions Clubs participating in the collection of the hides. Below is the history of the hide collection project, with our totals to date of $459,676.50 from the deer hide project.
If you have deer hides to donate, we are accepting them at the Wisconsin Lions Camp from November to February. If you are interested in donating your deer hides to someone in your area or starting up a local collection site, please contact Dale Schroeder, the Facility Manager at 715-677-4969.
